Failed Expansion, 2021
Navalcarnero is a town in Madrid whose impact from the 2008 crisis is still very present. In this project I take a tour of some of the infinite constructions that were left incomplete and abandoned after years of speculation, mismanagement and crisis. In addition, I look back to see the condition in which the landscape has been left. Split in half, separated by force, carelessly imposing our project of expansion. A landscape painfully wounded by these constructions, also mortally wounded. Both avoidable.
